Frequently Asked Questions
Do you care for exotic pets?
While we primarily focus on dogs and cats, we're more than happy to take care of all kinds of animals! Birds, foxes, hedgehogs, lizards, miniature pigs... you name it! What areas do you service? Since we're based on the Pasco/Pinellas border, we mainly service the areas of Holiday, Tarpon Springs, and anywhere else within a 10 mile radius. If you're still interested in utilizing our services but are outside of our service area, there's an additional $1.00 fee per additional mile outside of our service area. Do you administer medication? While we do not administer intravenous medications, we do administer pills, creams, drops, and liquid injections given by mouth at no additional charge. Do you charge additional fees per pet for visits? Unlike most pet sitting services, we do not charge based on how many pets you have, but instead on the amount of time spent during visits. Granted, some households that have a large number of pets requiring service may need to opt for extended visits. For dog walking, there may be an additional charge. Do you care for "aggressive" dog breeds? We love all dogs equally and do not judge based on the breed. Whether your dog is a pitbull, a doberman, or a tiny teacup chihuahua, as long as they are friendly and non-aggressive, we'll take care of them! Do you offer any types of promotions or discounts? We certainly do! Current clients can receive a $10 credit to their account for future use each time they refer someone to us who uses our services. Clients who also write a review or testimonial on major review sites (such as Google or Yelp!) will receive a $5 credit to their account. Just send us an email with a link to where you posted the review! Please note that you can only receive credit for one review, but there's no limit on the amount of credit received with referrals. Why do you require two sets of keys? We require two sets of keys for the safety of your pets. Having a backup key on file allows us to be able to get to your pets in the case of an emergency, such as a broken key or if your pet sitter is in the hospital and a backup sitter must be used (we will always alert you in the case of using a backup sitter). How can I be sure that my keys are safe? All client keys are kept locked up and are only out when in use to perform our scheduled services. When they're not in use, they go right back into the safe. Keys are labeled with identification codes, no personal information (names, pet's information, address, phone number, etc) is on them. Do I need to alert you if I get a new pet? If you're an existing client and you add a new pet to the family, it may be required that another Meet & Greet to get acquainted with the new pet is scheduled before any more services can take place. This is mandatory for all dogs. What types of payment do you accept? We only accept cash or check at the moment, and payment is due before the start of service. |
